Our Shipping Commitment

Shipping and Return Policy

Room Essentials partners with major international shipping companies like FedEx, SF Express, DHL, UPS, and EMS who work with local couriers -Β allowing us toΒ ship direct to your door andΒ proudly offer flat rate world-wide shipping.

You will be charged when your order and all payments are subject to verification and approval before shipping and may take several days to process. To help fight credit card fraud, orders with incorrect billing information or requiring additional verification may be delayed and/or cancelled.

Shipping Process

We require betweenΒ 2-5Β working days on average to fulfill your order and transport it to our carrier's sort facility. Some items may take longer especially around major holidays (up to 10 days), or if your order includes popular items experiencing stock availability issues.Β 

Once your order has begun processing through our shipping department we are unable to make any changes (including address changes).Β We will only ship to the address provided at check-out.Β 

We only ship during business days and do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.Β Once your order has shipped, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email.

For orders with multiple items, products may be shipped separately and received on different dates due to the difference in manufacturing partners’ locations.Β 

Tracking

All orders are processed with tracking numbers. You will receive an email with the tracking number when you order is dispatched to the carrier's sort facility.Β 

For some shipping companies, it can takeΒ several days for the tracking information to updateΒ in the system. If your order was placed more than 5 business days ago and there is still no information on your tracking number, please contact us.

While we will do all that we can to make sure you order is delivered on time, Room Essentials cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control such as required postal or customs clearance procedures, holidays, severe weather, labour disputes, protests, etc. and these interruptions can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Duties,Β Taxes, and OtherΒ Fees:

International shipments may be subject to importΒ taxes,Β dutiesΒ and/or customsΒ clearance fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. TheseΒ feesΒ are the soleΒ responsibilityΒ of the recipient.Β Room EssentialsΒ has no control over these charges, nor canΒ Room EssentialsΒ predict what they may be. If a shipment is refused and returned, you will beΒ responsibleΒ for any importΒ taxesΒ and return shippingΒ costsΒ incurred.

Customs policies vary widely by country. If you have questions we recommend that you contact your local customs office for more information.Β 

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Packages:

Room EssentialsΒ is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages.Β If your tracking information states that your package was delivered to your address and you have not received it, please report it and/or file a claim with your respective shipping carrier.

Note: We utilise the timestamp information from the tracking link and delivery confirmation from the carrier when reviewing damage or return requests and we may not be able to honour your claim if it is not reported.

Wrong Address Disclaimer:

It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that the shipping address entered is correct before submitting an order.Β We start working on your order immediately, so we are unable to make any changes to an order after it has been placed. If the order has already been processed through our shipping department, we cannot retrieve it for an address change.Β

Return Policy

Room Essentials will accept, for return or exchange, items that are purchased off our website within 30 days of the purchase under the following conditions:

There is no visible signs of damage

All original packaging is intact

Any sign of damage will compromise the product guarantee

Item(s) cannot be returned or exchanged after 30 days of purchase.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate (under-garments) or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.


To complete your return, we may require a receipt or proof of purchase (order confirmation email) with your order number.


ExchangesΒ (if applicable)

For all returns of exchanges please contact roomessentialsenquiries@gmail.com and provide them with your order number and reason for return or exchange. We will handle your request based on the rules stated in this page.

Return ShippingΒ (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

RefundsΒ (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item as well as the approval or rejection status of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.


Late or Missing Refunds

There is often some processing time between financial institutions before a refund is posted (between 2-3 days is normal). If you still have not received your refund after this time-frame, please send us an email at roomessentialsenquiries@gmail.com and allow us the opportunity to investigate the matter further.Β 


Gifts


Follow instructions above for returning online orders. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a digital gift certificate will be emailed to you.Β 


Damaged Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please submit a request to our email team roomessentialsenquiries@gmail.com.
If you do not report the damage to us within this 48 hour period, we may not be able to honour your claim. We utilise the timestamp information from the tracking link and delivery confirmation from the carrier when reviewing damage or return requests.Β
